Freya
‘ahooo… what? just expressing myself… ahooo… yup this feels good… ahooo…” – Freya
Freya, a beautiful German Shepherd cross and sweet senior soul, liked to add a little song to her day. Her gentle howls were just part of her charm—alongside the many funny, expressive faces she shared throughout our session.
We spent our time together in lovely Charleson Park on a cloudy afternoon, starting at the little bridge before wandering to a quiet pond for some tender family portraits. Freya settled beautifully into a flower-lined path, where she gave me the most peaceful, regal poses.
Next, we made our way to the seawall, where the city skyline set the stage for a series of portraits that were both dramatic and serene. We circled around a bustling playground, found fresh green grass to lounge in, a perfect wooden bench, and finally, a graffiti-covered wall that made for a colourful and vibrant finish to her photo adventure.
After her evening of modelling like a seasoned pro, Freya trotted home with her loving parents, Danielle and Cory—ready for a cozy nap and maybe a few more friendly howls.
