“a pond awesome!… did she say no… let me check… that was a definite no… later… OK I can do later…”

Ayla gazed longingly at the little pond on Granville Island but with a word form her mother sat down and posed like a pro. It was of course agreed she could have a swim before going home.

Granville Island is an amazing place for a pet photography session a pond, boardwalk, colourful buildings, fabulous views and so much more. I had a wonderful time taking Ayla around to different spots that would show off her sweet spirited Kelpie personality.

The evening started at the pond and ended as promised with a dip in False Creek. As Ayla patiently waited for her ball to be thrown it was the perfect time to snap some last minute photographs in the fading light.

I enjoyed every minute of my summer evening on the island with the adorable Ayla, her loving mom Lisa and friend Micah.
